Philo Media was asked by GMC to conceive and create a branded video series for the new GMC Canyon pickup truck. As Philo Media's digital production arm, we helped develop two docu-style storytelling films that explore the power of creative inspiration.
With a need for gorgeous natural imagery, we decided to bring the shoot to Port Orford, Oregon. The challenge was to create two compelling storytelling films in 4 shoot days with minimal preparation time, while also delivering broadcast-quality running footage of the trucks.
The films are featured on GM’s branded channel on YouTube, and were strategically seeded. To date, the campaign has garnered 150,000-targeted hits from potential truck buyers.
